I wrote this on September 11th, when I realized I’d been seeing these television ads stating support for Supreme Court nominee, Appellate Court Judge, Brett Kavanaugh, for a few days already. The two different ads I’ve seen both feature women who say they’ve known him for decades and he is honest and truthful and just a wonderful guy.
x⚡ï¸ÂWho puts TV ads up for a Supreme Court Justice?⚡︠They're trying to SELL #BrettKavanaugh to us like he's a loaf of bread or a new car. It's #unseemly and #disturbing. Tell YOUR Senators to think about that and to vote #NoKavanaugh Because our #SCOTUS IS NOT FOR SALE. pic.twitter.com/vANDnNL8Kc
— Angela Marx (@AngieinWAState) September 11, 2018After the last four or five days, since the news broke about Professor Christine B Ford and her allegations about sexual misconduct by the nominee, I’ve been paying attention quite a bit.
Then I saw that ad again today, and unlike my wonderment in the previous week about WHY they were paying for such professional ads in support of Brett Kavanaugh by women who say they’ve known him decades, suddenly, I knew why they’d been running them.
xOn Sept 11th, I posted the question: Why are they running TV ads for a #SCOTUS nominee? Who does that? I'd never seen it happen ever before... https://t.co/gcGbvAGxEI

— Angela Marx (@AngieinWAState) September 18, 2018They fucking knew all along.
Which means Brett Kavanaugh remembers it or at least some of it.
Enough of it to get these ads made and ready to go.
Just in case...
