One of his tweets dropped into my timeline on Twitter:

I responded

The goal of active shooter drills isn't to prevent school shootings. It's to keep those kids alive when one happens. But getting rid of the guns would be 1000% smarter.

He just ignored the fact that his premise — that training kids to live through a violent event in their school is not preventing harm — is bullshit. Someone else (whom I’ve followed for a couple years and jumped in to (repeatedly) tell me this guy is an EXPERT and that I should just shut up and agree with him.

My grandkids do these drills. The idea that we shouldn't prepare our kids for what happens SOMEWHERE in this country about every THREE DAYS now? That's just crazy. https://t.co/kxzgrXopRJ

How the hell can this guy

pretend that school shooting survival training for kids in schools should be held responsible for PREVENTING school shootings and use THAT as a basis to claim that the training is too harmful to kids?

Thoughts?
