I’ve been reading a bunch of stories
about the decision President Joe Biden made, contrary to his previous statements about the issue, to pardon his son, Hunter Biden.

People who have already paid their back taxes — plus interest and penalties — don’t go to criminal court afterward.
For example, Roger Stone owed more than Hunter, $2 Million in back taxes, and all that happened was a lawsuit to get him to pay it back. Which he did. Nobody came after Roger Stone again, after he had paid the bill, with criminal charges. That doesn’t happen.
One of the criminal cases against Hunter Biden which is about back taxes, which he has already paid, including fines and interest.
But more importantly, for all of these stories (some of which, like Frank’s, are well written and reasoned) trying to make the case that it was the right thing to do?
Why is anyone even trying to make that case?
A president can pardon anyone for anything which was a federal crime, anything, and no one can do anything about it.
It’s why that fucker Donald Trump pardoned a LOT of people, including Paul Manafort, Roger Stone, Michael Flynn, Stephen K. Bannon, and George Papadopoulos.
NONE of them deserved to avoid their due and justly earned sentences.
So if President Joe Biden wants to pardon his only living son, so that he will be able to spend time with Hunter during his waning years?
Good for Joe and Hunter and the rest of their family.
I’m happy for all of them.
Rest assured, there will be Pardons A’plenty coming out of the Trump White House in short order, and he won’t be waiting until he’s ready to leave Office again to do, either.
I predict that come January 7, 2025 January 21, 2025 there will be a slew of pardons wafting out of the Oval Office on their way to pardoning hundreds of those fuckers who invaded, occupied and defaced our Capitol building on January 6, 2021.
By then, no one will even remember that Joe granted Hunter a “get out of jail, free” card this Nov
