why can't I embed a BlueSky post here?

There was a brief period of about a week, when I could drop a BlueSky link to a post and have it embed. 

Now? Just a blank space when I try to embed in a comment or a story. 

What is the deal, is it a tech issue with my chrome browser or what? 

I see embeds from Bluesky here so I know it can be done. 

WHAT am I missing? 

UPDATE: 

It appears that for the couple days I could drop the URL from a Bluesky post here and embed the message. But NOW? 

You have to use the — 3 DOTS menu — from BlueSky and choose “Embed Post” and then grab the code (which has HTML elements in it and which normally DK prohibits in comments for a LONG TIME NOW).
