and we could see a shift towards Progressivism or a slide into Fascist Oligarchy. Some people say we are already on that slide. I tend to believe that we’re only on the brink and could pull our Republic back from that edge, should we care to.
The following candidates for office in 2016 DO CARE and they are espousing the policies and ideas which will help us drag our fellow citizens back from that edge. But they need your help to be successful. So please, consider helping them in any of the following ways…
Volunteer Donate Share on Social MediaAll three of these actions are helpful to a candidate trying to reach a larger audience or promote an event or action. Candidates need money to put on events and to pay salaries for staff and to buy the signs and ads which help to spread the messages they are putting out to the prospective voters in their city, county or state.
The November 2015 elections are now behind us, and they are a mixed bag, with heart-rending losses in Virginia, despite some really great candidates and a state-wide project to increase voter registration (the www.90for90.org Voter Advocacy project in the state of Virginia, started in honor of Dr. Wm Ferguson Reid, Sr)
My own county had a similar result, although one of the three candidates I supported did win (Eric LaBrant for Port Commissioner in Clark County, WA), two others lost by only a few hundred votes. In a county where over 250,000 eligible voters reside, only a bit over 80,000 ballots were cast. In a 100% mail-in ballot state. Giving us a measly 33.37% Voter Participation rate.
So we need to start banging the drum for next year’s Progressive candidates TODAY, in order to have enough victories next November to stave off or even undo the advancement of the conservative lunatics who inhabit the current version of what’s left of the Republican Party.
Here are this week’s PROGRESSIVE CANDIDATES who need your help TODAY, to win next November.
