Time to convert those generous campaign contributions to local food bank donations in Winter 2020.

I’ve been donating monthly

to a few political candidates in 2020 and to a whole lot more once or twice.

But campaign season is over and around 20 million of our fellow Americans are in dire straits in these dark days near the end of the obscenity which has been the Trump Maladministration of America.

Please open your hearts and your pocketbooks to your friends and neighbors, some of them are going to bed hungry — FOR REAL.

I just did a google search for “Food Bank near me” and found one for my county last night, and thought about 3 seconds and gave what I could afford. It was a lot more than I’ve ever sent to Food Banks before, but if I could send hundreds of dollars to candidates whom I’ll never meet and only “know” via their campaign information, how could I do less for hungry families in my own county?

Please, give what you can, give until it hurts a little. It will make a huge difference in the life of someone who might live just down your street, and help remind you that decency is found in the hearts of each of us, and is made real in the world by our actions

👋 #ATTN#DemCastWA Live in #ClarkCountyWA? Our Community is suffering due to the economic impacts of #COVID19. I gave $200, give what YOU can afford. Let's put food on tables in SW Washington this winter. 🖖🙏💙https://t.co/J4VRH9NXCo

Be safe, be good, be kind.

A pretty good philosophy to live by, methinks.

Happy Holidays from my family to yours,

angie
