It's Sunday. Let's Talk BOOKS 📚

Let’s talk about anything about books:

  • Your favorite book(s)
  • Your favorite author(s)
  • Your book you wrote
  • What book you still remember 20 years later (or 10 or 5 or 1)
  • What book astounded you and why

Stuff like that.

Today I’d like to talk about …

Taking a stab at some Book Club reading & discussion.

Please see the Poll and vote, and if you don’t see anything on the poll that sounds interesting, please leave a comment on the book or just the genre you would like to read and then do a Book Club edition in 3 weeks from now.

What that would mean is that each month, one of the Let’s Talk BOOKS 📚 editions will be Book Club day.

Are you all up for that?

Let me know, because there are many, many books I’d love to try this with.

Starting with a book we discussed a little while ago, one which is (legally) free to download and read from either Amazon or The Gutenbook Project, both of which allow you read the book online in a browser or on your smart phone.

The Iron Heel, by Jack London

Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00847CZZO

Gutenberg Project: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/1164/1164-h/1164-h.htm

So on Sunday Dec 15th, I’d like to plan to talk about a book we’ve all read recently!

Your votes here today will help choose the Book Club item for that edition of Let’s Talk BOOKS 📚.

I will try this for 3 months, and see how it goes.

So… what do you think?

Is this a good idea? Would you be willing to do this once each month?

See you in the comments!
