I don’t understand why Daily Kos Staff writers need to keep beating the FEAR drum, putting the image of the reprehensible Donald Trump all over the front page of Daily Kos.
I just don’t.
Stop doing it. Stop tagging every damn story with his name, so he remains high on the Recent Tags list.
Spend the next couple of weeks showing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz to us here. Write stories about the actions that the Harris/Walz team are working all over the country.
Write about the Canvassing, Door Knocking, co-ordinated campaign events in every state.
Write about the states running a Democratic Candidate is every single statehouse seat election this year (Florida and Virginia for sure).
Write about the SURGE in voter registration in the younger voters, and how historically those who register to vote for the first time, especially those who do so within 3 months of the election are a lot more likely to cast a ballot.
Write about the (anecdotal) stories from DK Users across the country seeing ZERO or very few Trump roadside campaign signs.
Write more about the current actions in the four criminal cases against Trump, like the recent decisions by Judge Tanya Chutkan to unseal a massive amount of documents/evidence submitted by Special Counsel Jack Smith, just weeks before Election Day.
Write about anything about the election, just stop posting his ugly face and writing anymore about him.
We don’t need to hear it. We’ve heard all we need to hear about Trump for the rest of his wretched life.
Seriously.
Stop trying to make us afraid of his winning — WE ARE AWARE OF THE DANGER. Even if the rest of the Media seems to think that isn’t the case.
Put some damned JOY and EXCITEMENT into the Front Page stories, make your readers aware of all the action on-going to put Kamala Harris in the seat beneath the Resolute Desk, and Tim Walz into his next home in the Naval Observatory.
Write about how electing Ruben Galllego, Colin Allred, and enough other (D) candidates on Nov 5th will change the future of our nation. The Cook Report is predicting a 50+ Democratic Senate for the new Congress, and that Kamala Harris is going into Election Day with an edge nationwide over Trump.
Start writing about the future we are all going to live in after this country rejects Donald Trump for the last time, at the ballot box.
Because our side thrives on good news, not fear.
Make it so.
